Welcome to Chordi! Your privacy is important to us, and we want you to understand how we collect, use, and store your information when you use our service.
When you save songs to the cloud, we create an anonymous user identifier (UUID) for you. This identifier is stored in your browser's local storage (localStorage) and is used to link the songs you saved to you. We do not request your name, email address, or any other personal information.
When you save songs, we store the song title, song content (lyrics, chords, formatting), tempo (if specified), and the date and time of saving or updating.
We use the information only to save your songs to the cloud, display them in your personal gallery, and allow you to edit, update, or delete them. Your songs are not publicly available and are not displayed or indexed for use by others.
Your songs are stored on secure servers, and your anonymous identifier is stored locally in your browser and sent with requests. All songs are associated only with your anonymous identifier.
Songs are stored until you choose to delete them through the application. If you delete your localStorage or use a different device/browser, the identifier will be lost and you will not be able to access previous songs.
We do not use cookies for personal tracking. We may use statistical tools (such as Google Analytics) for general usage analysis in an anonymous manner only.
We use third-party services for management and storage (such as Render, Supabase, MongoDB Atlas). These services may process information only as required to operate the service.
Since there is no collection of personally identifiable information, your rights regarding access or updates are limited. You can always delete songs through the application. You can contact us with any questions: chordi4u@gmail.com.
This policy may be updated from time to time. If there are material changes, we will notify you through the application or website.
